THE ARCHITECT : PARIS

From May to December 2021, I was sole game designer at Enodo Games, and I worked on The Architect : Paris, until we shipped it. My position as only game designer of the company led me to work on a lot of different things : I designed the whole career mode from scratch, including the puzzle design, progression systems, tutorial, and part of the narrative design ; I designed all the management aspect of the game ; Finally, I also helped the UI designer and the rest of the team with shaping the UX and flow of the interfaces and core mechanics of the game.

INTERNSHIP AT LARIAN STUDIOS
-
BALDUR'S GATE 3

From June to November 2019, I was an intern at Larian Studios. I worked as scripter on Baldur's Gate 3. As such, I was responsible of a few situations, including a small dungeon and a quest hub. My job was to put all the characters and objects necessary for the situation to work, and design and implement their behaviors. Then, my main responsabilities were to keep those situations functional and "fun" through the iteration process. To do that, I had to work with all the flavour of designer, as well as scenarists, programmers and fellow scripters.

I learned a lot about working in a big team, on larger-scale project, and about pacing and agency in a branching and relatively open game.

OFFICE ROBOT LEAGUE

ORL is the game we made in 2019 as final exam for my formation in design of Interactive Digitial Experiences. I work on it for three months along with four of my classmates. I did all the game design except for some UI things. I also programmed gameplay elements.

ORL is a multiplayer competitive game for six players divided in two teams of three. The goal is to gather data which appears randomly on the isometric map. Each player control a small flying drone with the ability to change the behavior of any object in the game through an easy-to-use nodal programming system. The game use the mouse for every game action and the keyboard for writing words in the chat.

ORL explores notions of privacy protection, communication security, steganography, and crowd. It is also an easy first contact with programmation. More importantly, it is a competitive strategy game which requires teamwork.

It got nominated for the Ping Award 2019 in the student game category.

I learned a lot about working with a team, scoping, AGILE, network, Unity programming, playtesting and UI while working on this game.
